The Demand Planner is responsible for executing and continuously improving the demand forecasting process, ensuring accurate, data-driven projections that support supply chain and commercial planning.This role analyzes historical data, market trends, and business inputs to generate reliable forecasts, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and leveraging demand planning systems (e.g., Anaplan or similar) to enhance forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve statistical demand forecasts.
– Analyze historical sales data, seasonality patterns, trends, and external variables.
– Monitor forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, Bias, Forecast Error) and implement
corrective actions.
– Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance stakeholders.
– Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
– Contribute to inventory optimization and service level performance improvements.
– Present insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
Education, experience and other requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative disciplines.
- Preferred: Postgraduate studies or professional specialization in Data Science, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Analytics (internships and trainee programs considered).
- Advanced English (C1–C2 according to CEFR) or Native
- Basic Spanish (Preferred, not mandatory)

- Hands-on experience with Demand Planning or Forecasting software – Anaplan experience is highly desirable; similar platforms (SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder,etc.) are also acceptable.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Structured and logical problem-solving mindset.
- Strong quantitative reasoning.
